White House shooting: Suspect killed after shooting at Secret Service, reports say

WASHINGTON – A gunman was killed in a shootout with the Secret Service outside the White House on Saturday, after officials said he took out a gun and started firing at officers.  What we know: The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the area of 17th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
